OMEGA-3 ENERGY BALLS

ALMOND BUTTER CHOCOLATE










This recipe is one of my favorite go-tos so I always stock my pantry with the ingredients. I'm ready to whip up a batch of these delicious and nourishing snacks anytime of day.  


You can play around using any kind of nut butter you and the kids prefer. Have fun with it and see what works best of your family. This nutrient-dense sack is healthy, energizing, quick and delicious. Sometimes my daughters even have them for breakfast. Get the whole family in the kitchen creating and naming their favorite balls!

Ingredients:
3/4 Cup Almond Butter (any nut butter will work)
1 Cup Oats 
1/4 Cup Tbsp Ground Flax Seeds

3 Tbsp Maple Syrup or Honey
2 Tbsp Chia Seeds

1/8 Tsp sea salt

Directions:

Mix all the ingredients in a large bowl. Use hands if prefer. Roll into balls (add in coconut flakes if desire), refrigerate and store in a glass jar until ready to serve. Enjoy!!!

CHOCOLATE BROWNIE BITES









These gluten-free energy balls are delicious and so nourishing. They are an ideal after school snack for the kids or us as a grab and go energy boost.

Ingredients: 
1 Cup Walnuts or Almonds 
3/4 Cup Dates (pitted) 
1 Tbs. Chia Seeds 
2 Tbs. Cacao Powder
1/8 Tsp sea salt 

Directions:

Pulse nuts in a food processor until finely ground. Add salt, chia seeds, then dates one at a time (If the mixture does not hold together well then add more dates). Roll into balls (and in coconut flakes if desire), refrigerate and store in a glass jar until ready to serve. Enjoy!!!
